Between now and June 28, stop by the Riverside Arts Center in Ypsilaniti, MI to see three photographs from my Land of Opportunity in Lace series. These photographs of my Detroit installation work are a continuation of the piece I had on display at 555 Gallery in Detroit last year.

Revelations- An Artist Interpretation is a membership show of the Michigan Chapter of the Women's Caucus for Art. It is a pleasure to be showing alongside so many passionate artist. If you would like the opportunity to meet some of the artists and hear about their work, be sure to stop by the gallery Saturdays at 3:30pm while the show is up. Today I had the honor of installing work in the Ohio University Eastern Art Gallery. The exhibition aMending A City: Home, History, Hardship, and Hope features the work of myself and Whitney L. Sage. Both of us were raised in the Detroit area and grew up with a love for the city. This exhibition showcases installation, fiber art, photographs, and paintings that all speak to our relationships with Detroit past, present, and future. Between themes and art making processes, it is amazing how much Sage and my work correlates in this exhibition.
